Mr. Ellsworth has drafted and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications since 2006. His practice also includes client counseling providing legal opinions on issues of patent validity, patent infringement, and due diligence research for clients. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Ellsworth worked at prominent law firms in Washington, D.C. where he worked in patent prosecution as well as patent litigation.
Mr. Ellsworth has broad expertise in electrical and mechanical technologies, as well as computer systems, software-based systems, and business methods. His work covers technical areas such computer system design and implementation, circuitry and chip design and fabrication, including semiconductor-based memory and control devices, communications systems including wired and wireless systems, aircraft systems, medical devices, display devices, and power systems.
